I’m No Longer the Weird One in the Room
And neither are you. It’s okay to talk about your spiritual experience
I can’t believe it.
No longer am I the weird one in the room. People today ask me questions about my metaphysical ideas, and nine times out of ten, they want to share their own experiences.
To be honest, I didn’t think I’d ever see masses of people open their minds and be honest about their experiences, not in this lifetime. But here it is. It’s exciting!
Most of us have been conditioned since birth to fear and deny anything that’s unfamiliar. This never made sense to me. No one person has all the knowledge of the universe. If I’m not curious and open and ask questions, how will I understand the universe? Knowledge can’t hurt you, unless you twist it into something harmful.
My understanding of the world and the universe is constantly changing because I’m constantly getting new knowledge. A topic I thought I understood when I was 21 years old has evolved; it has been upgraded.
How information feels is the key. I listen, then observe how the information feels in my body. If it feels right (in the moment) or resonates with me, I let it be (neutral). If it doesn’t feel right, the information isn’t for me and I move on. If I feel fear or…
